maybe would be nice to have df.plot(kind='candle') or df.plot(kind='ohlc')? kind of a pain to do all the date/time stuff manually

see this SO question for an example

@cpcloud Looks like #783 beat you to it.

FWIW I'm (possibly) going to have more free time in a few weeks. I was considering tackling a bunch of the visualization issues.
