<div type="commentary" subtype="frontmatter" xml:space="preserve"><p>Prescriptions. The small fragment measures 4 x 1.6 cm and belongs to a papyrus codex. It is written on both sides by the same hand and preserves the remains of 4 lines containing medical recipes. In l. 4 A, the dicolon and a horizontal stroke followed by ἄλλο mark the beginning of a new prescription. Written in a small sloping book hand, the papyrus could be dated to the 6th c. AD. </p><p><note type="footnote" xml:lang="en">This papyrus has been digitally edited by Francesca Corazza as part of the Project "DIGMEDTEXT - Online Humanities Scholarship: A Digital Medical Library based on Ancient Texts" (ERC-AdG-2013, Grant Agreement no. 339828) funded by the European Research Council at the University of Parma (Principal Investigator: Prof. Isabella Andorlini). The digital edition is mostly based on the previous editions (ed.pr. = J.W.B. Barns, P.Ant. III 135)</note></p></div>
