Install virtualbox without qt4, then do the buildbot also run the powerpack-pack command (if not done yet, also the powerpack-build and powerpack-commit as described in the powerpack repo) don't forget the papyros option. then use the installed virtualbox command to convert the generated img to a virtual hard drive image; VBoxManage convertfromraw -format VDI build/papyros/papyros.img build/papyros/papyros.vdi should do that. at last provide that VDI with checksums on the download page. everyone who has downloaded the VDI image may just install a new virtual machine while choosing the downloaded VDI as hard drive. Happy testing!

@Schwertspize That's basically correct, though I'm still in the process of tweaking and getting everything to work correctly. We already have disk images ready to download and do the VBox conversion locally. All that's left is for me to fix some bugs, particularly with the OSTree boot process.

2. as said, you only can solve. that.
3. I would prefer just post the images as they are read only and it's the decision of everyone if he burn that image to eg an USB key or convert a vm from it
