Currently we have "Temperature threshold" on Thermal tab. AFAIK this only change the color of the indicator text. This can easily go unnoticed. Would be great:

  1. An "Activate desktop notifications" checkbox, just like in in psensor:

    image.

  2. Another checbox to enable an acoustic notification, playing continuously a sound like /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/bell.ogg.
