INGREDIENTS
for marination:
▢ 10 stick soya chaap
▢ oil (for frying)
▢ ½ cup curd (thick)
▢ ½ tsp turmeric
▢ ½ tsp chilli powder
▢ ½ tsp garam masala
▢ ½ tsp salt
👉🏼for onion tomato base:
▢ 2 tbsp oil
▢ 2 onion (sliced)
▢ 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
▢ 4 tomato (sliced)
👉🏼for curry:
▢ 2 tbsp oil
▢ 1 tsp butter
▢ 1 bay leaf
▢ 1 inch cinnamon
▢ 5 cloves
▢ 2 pods cardamom
▢ 1 tsp cumin
▢ ½ tsp turmeric
▢ ½ tsp chilli powder
▢ 1 tsp coriander powder
▢ ½ tsp cumin powder
▢ 1 cup water
▢ 1 tsp kasuri methi (crushed)
Salt to taste

  1. Remove Soya Chaap from sticks and cut into small pieces.
  2. Mix curd, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, salt, and ginger garlic paste together.
  3. Add Soya Chaap and marinate.
  4. Slice onions and cook until slightly browned.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste
  6. Add tomatoes and cook until mushy.
  7. Blend until smooth
  8. Add butter and oil to the pot.
  9. Add spices.
  10. Cook until fragrant
  11. Add chaap.
  12. Add 1 cup of hot water
  13. Cover and reduce.
  14. Add garam masala, methi, and coriander.
  15. Serve.
