Since our downgrade to Python 3.8 (so that we can use MDAnalysis 1.1.1!) , the doc no longer compiles. An example:
https://readthedocs.org/projects/buildh/builds/14177467/ :

ERROR: Package 'buildh' requires a different Python: 3.9.6 not in '<3.9,>=3.6'

Looks like the doc is compiled with Python 3.9, so there's a version conflict.
