WebExtensions API/longdesc_0.2 context menu not updated in time

The enabled/disabled property, as well as the text pointing to the longdesc location, are updated async (content script sends a message to the background script on contextmenu, but it seems at that point it's already too late most of the time and the context menu is already showing - and once it's showing, it's not updated). Means the status and text of the context menu option always lags on context menu invocation behind...
