hi

I encounter some problems mounting the picostation in the ps1.
I have tried SSB on a PU8 early, but that just give me a black screen.
so, i have tried to another motherboard (PU8 late), but with test in every step:
-tried to boot ps1, without controller port and without cdrom drive: It boot
-tried to lift up legs of the chip and remove the 5 smd component: black screen
-tried to resolder crystal filter: black screen
-so i have try to make the 2 bridges made by the qsb: black screen

so i have some doubt...
it is normal after removing the 5 smd and lift legs up to have black screen?
the 2 bridges dont be here to solve that?
or it is totally normal and after all this work, ps1 only boot if picostation or xtation is connected?!

thanks

Have you tried using the wires closest to the solder and PCB of the spike as possible?
