I am a guy, who values the time, developing solutions through the use of intelligent process and tools to achieve goals that I trace to my own life.

— Paulo Jerônimo

Why do I value the time?

\\

  • I value the time because I love (and need) …

    • … to have great moments with my wife 1, daughter 2 and son 3.

      • Traveling 1 2 3 is the best part!

    • … to practice my favorite sport:

\\

  • I value the time because I love (and need) …

    • … to program computers (code) and automate tasks.

    • … to study and discover new technologies.

      • Bitcoin, Blockchain, and related things are my current area of research.

    • … to write 1 and talk 1 about my discoveries and experiences.

    • … share my knowledge while ministering courses 1 2 3.

How do I gain time?

\\

  • I use the best programming languages and tools that I consider smart to solve my problems.

    • I evaluate the right thing to choose depending on the needs.

    • If I need to learn something new to do a better job, I quickly learn.

  • I like to automate process that I need to follow, even the simplest.

\\

  • I need space in my brain to learn new things.

    • So, to gain it, I need to release my ideas ^(and/or code)^ inside blog posts ^1 (pt-br) or writing docs ^(and/or code)^ in my GitHub account.

What kind of work I’m currently doing?

\\

  • 2016-10 → Today: Today I am working as an independent consultant. Currently:

    • I’m working for a customer (a Brazilian company) to integrate their application to public blockchains (Bitcoin and Dash).

      • This company has an application that runs on notaries offices.

      • I’m developing an API (in Python). It will be called from the company’s software. This API will write the hashes of notary documents on the blockchains.

\\

  • 2016-10 → Today: Today I am working as an independent consultant. Currently:

    • I’m coding an personal project (in Java/https://kotlinlang.org/[Kotlin]) to, maybe, present it at V Bitconf.

      • run.4money (the name of this app) is a mobile app to monetize (with crypto currencies) people that participate on running races.

\\

\\

  • Working for Red Hat, I did:

    • 2017-03: I did a big effort to migrate a Java EE monolithic application from Weblogic to JBoss EAP 7. But, I was unsuccessful because many components from this application was very old and need to be upgraded before this migration.

\\

  • Working for Red Hat, I did:

    • 2016-10 → 2017-02: I developed a framework (jboss-domain-mode-scripts) to install new environments that runs Red Hat JBoss EAP 6.4 on RHEL. Also, I migrate several Java EE applications from an older JBoss EAP version (5.x) to that new environments (local, integration, uat and production).

\\

  • 2015-10 → 2016-09: I worked for Cebraspe as a project manager.

    • I led a small team (some few developers and devops guys 1 2). We designed a Computer Based Test (CBT) solution (programmed in Node.js to run on Docker containers).
