I faced rocksdb build error on 2021 macbook pro with Apple Silicon M1-Pro chip.

We confirmed that it had been compiled on m1 from fixing the build problem in M1, which means, it only happens above the machine with M1-Pro chip.

Currently, we use rocksdb v6.15.5 release which released after Apple Silicon M1 build issue fixed. We checked out to v6.17.3, but it does not worked.
