Roadmap

A short overview of upcoming near-term changes, features, and fixes:

  • Add support for six bone influences per vertex in weighted meshes. (This will fix weight issues with reimported, native assets)
  • Fix for all vertex normal issues by recalculating normals during import.
  • Auto generation of low res texture maps for imported textures.
  • Support for texture resizing
  • Support for patch file merging
  • Basic support for material editing
  • Mesh discovery tool
  • Option to exclude LOD models during export.
  • Examples/Tutorials
  • I/O of materials directly through glTF files for simple materials.
  • Support for more texture formats (.tga isn't really supported as per the glTF spec.)
