[Re: #100] clearing search bar- not working when search bar out of focus

Thank you for implementing clearing of the search bar by double-click or pressing 'ESC'.
Would it be easy to add ESC action to the main form (area) to do the same?
Let me explain with typical use scenario:
-type item name in search box,
-click filtered item to launch it
-app page opens
-user returns to Flame
-ESC does not work since search box is out-of-focus (main area has focus at the moment, since user had clicked an app/bookmark icon)

So to use ESC in that scenario one has to click Search Bar first.
