Someone in r/rails recently posted a thread about supporting payments via PayPal in their application, so my first thought was to refer them here ❤️

However, I got a reply from someone else that mentioned that the Braintree docs were empty, which I definitely thought was strange and probably an oversight! There is an older issue which makes reference to an eventual Braintree wiki, but I wasn't able to find it.

Just wanted to call attention to that if it's something that you weren't aware of!

Yeah, not many people are using Braintree we've found. We will have to add docs for that.

I think we're going to be dropping Braintree support at some point in the future. Stripe has introduced PayPal support for EU businesses and hopefully US will follow.
