...but fine works when switching languages from the UI.

This manifest itself if you have your language settings set to Greek for instance (which has the largest width) and are running Rufus at 200% DPI: When you start the app, the increase in width and position for all resized/repositioned objects will be exactly half the size of what's expected.

This most likely has to do with apply_localization() being called before fScale is computed in InitDialog().
