I've read the README and associated content at links. Now I need to review the issues to see where this is going.

I think the complexity here validates my notion of a Freedonia example. Also, it has me wondering whether an ontology is doomed in this problem space (e.g. https://www.chef.io/blog/2015/04/23/ontology-infrastructure-classification-and-the-design-of-chef/)
