Some years ago I wrote https://gitlab.com/joubu/koha-plugin-jump
The based idea was the same: use the keyboard to jump to different page.
What about those ideas:

  1. Add parameter (if you want to go to the detail view of a specific record)?
  2. Add pseudo grammar (see readme of koha-plugin-jump: jump biblio The art of)
  3. Create test data on the fly (create item, create 10 item biblionumber=20)

Were you aware of this project before (maybe we talked about it already)
Announce on the Koha ML: https://lists.koha-community.org/pipermail/koha-devel/2019-December/045450.html
There is a screencast to see how it worked.

Are those ideas things you would consider for this plugin or do you want to stick to a simple list of paths?

And more ideas in the TODO: https://gitlab.com/joubu/koha-plugin-jump/-/blob/master/TODO

The current state is just a basic proof of concept. The basic idea is what you lined out: Navigating Koha from the keyboard for power users or people who just prefer to use the keyboard. I don't think we have to limit this to paths alone. It would be great if the thing could do all these things. :D I think in some cases its even necessary as missing query params produce errors for certain pages.
