mate-menu-editor problem on ja locale

I build mate-desktop 1.5x on Plamo linux Ver:5.0 x86 & x86_64.
It works fine. But mate-menu-editor-1.5.0 ,some menu letters are not displayed collectly.
LANG is ja_JP.eucJP. I edited ja.po by emacs po-mode and compiled to mozo.mo,
but it is not work.
