as we run e.g. ./DESY_W3C3_Powerup_000.sh, what would happen if one of the commands does not get properly executed in the hardware? performing step 5 if step 3 did not happen might be unsafe for the system.
we desyans believe this is currently not excluded (correct?)
is there a way to perform a check if command (1) got properly executed before command (2) gets sent, and to abort the procedure if a command does not execute properly? maybe this means a more elaborate way of coding than a text-based script ...

Hi thanks @Wunderer for this report. It is actually a duplicate of issue #86 so yes a python script will be created.
