This includes a number of things:

A significant amount of code exists (primarily relating to SNMP) that is no longer used. We should remove this to reduce dependencies
Of the dependencies that remain, determine if we can use editing RPMs or package a few in rpms to drop the pip silliness we do in the spec file
Review whether the virtualenv makes any sense after doing all of the above
