pbm "interactive mode" output formatting on Linux is unusable

• ASCII art breaks on Linux
• Whitespace and line formatting breaks on Linux as well

This makes using pbm interactive mode when running kubectl exec, for instance, very difficult if not impossible to use. We should consider sanitizing the CLI output and look for areas where we might be using character / encoding that aren't suitable for x-platform.
