The 1206x4 resistor network is difficult to obtain from AliExpress, or have to revert to Mouser or other supplyers with prohibitive (at least for hobbyist) high prices. These have to be replaced with either smaller components (1206 as total package) or separate resistors.

Smaller parts might be difficult to solder by hand for DIY-people. Maybe the resistor networks can be duplicated, so for external fabbing the SMD components can be used, while for DIY-enthousiasts the though-hole option is still available.

Solved in version 1.1 of HUB75HAT. Smaller components used, designed to be manufactured by a fab (JLCPCB / PCBWAY / others)
