Proposal

The ability to invite others to my org/project is useful for collaboration.

I think you'll need to create an organization for this purpose (if you haven't).

Post that you can give granular level access to collaborators and maintainers.

@pallasite99 We already have an organization concept. It's currently invisible to users, but when you sign up, you automatically get an org created for you.
