Firefox 47.0 denies installation of PassIFox plugin because signature cannot be verified.

Ah ok, you have to install it through firefox addons, not from https://github.com/pfn/passifox/

aparently ffox is aware of the issue and sick of my complaining about HORSESHIT requirement on LINUX for SIGNED code being FORCED on devs when dev code constantly changes, which is why we dont usually sign it. Our code is public if anyone wants to verify it or yada yada.

Maple hardware fails above sin 7 and xpad also fail for same reasons. Basically we cant keep up with the signature demand requirement.

as a result several plugins that secure the web break or refuse to install. for people with kids, this is very very bad. moreso for networks wanting a mass-install environment.

new tab:
about:config

change
xpinstall.signatures.required --> false
install away.
