Yesterday I opened an issue on the Privacy Badger repo because I thought that Privacy Badger caused the crashes. After making some test on a new profile on Firefox 52.0.2 discovered that the crashes happen just when both add-ons are installed and enabled.

I can confirm this issue. It happens on latest firefox and both Privacy Badger and PassIFox on their latest versions.

Ah, similar as #612 .
Will check without privacy badger (which is indeed also installed) and report back!

Confirmed this only happens when privacy badger is enabled!

I confirm that Privacy Badger + PassIFox seem to make Firefox crashes on Basic Auth prompt.

This is an issue for me also. I need PasslFox, its critical for me, so I disabled Privacy Badger for now.

I have this same issue and I am not using Privacy Badger.
Edit:
After some testing, it's a combo of Zotero Connector (5.0.18) and PassIFox that causes it.
Edit 2: Certain versions of uBlock crashes with PassIFox too. The new hybrid version (1.13.10) crashes it but (1.13.8) works just fine.

PassIFox ha been forked to KeePassHttp-Connector, and the fork doesn't crash. I'm going to close this issue because the project seems abandoned.
