how about use pcre in databases? like follow

(?<dbname>\w+)-primary = host=host1 dbname=$dbname
(?<dbname>\w+)-standby = host=host2 dbname=$dbname

instead of explicit write all databases names

I think this is an interesting idea. Something to think about. It would basically be an extension of the "autodb" mechanism (the * entry).
