FreeIPA 2FA integration

Hello,
Current OpenLDAP plugin works with Two-Factor-Authentication (2FA) in way that user need to enter in password field both password and TOTP code that works but It is not clear to the user how to act.
If it is arranged in two separate fields like Password and Second Factor (OTP) that will be more clear and convenient to end user.
