Unable to set password on a new admin account #31
Comments
Can you be more specific. Where you want to create a new admin? I |
That's during the installation( except for you because it didn't work). During the installation, there's a step where it asks to set a admin account |
/admin123/admin/add (yes, I know I need to change that) aaaaaand.... loading the page again there's a password field now... |
No, I got that step. Just the first time trying to add a second admin account (for my cofounder) there was no password field. Well there was a field labeled as password, but it was actually the First Name field in disguise (I figured that out after the fact). Looking at the page now, there is one more field than there was the first time through: the password field. I can't verify the issue currently. We'll see if the same thing happens on reinstall, when I install for production. |
No, no password field in there. Maybe the page wasn't loaded. |
It might not have been completely loaded. I was able to create the second admin from that "broken" page, with no password. Like I said, I got a password field when I went back, so I deleted the account i had just created and recreated it with a password. Everything looks good now, thanks. |
You're welcome! |

Creating a new admin user, I see no obvious way to create a password for the account, so the new admin account is unable to log in. There's a fair chance I'm just doing it wrong; any ideas?
