Current Status of development

Since I got several requests already, here is a brief description of the current status of development and the planned implementations:

Current Status:

• Implementation of first version of backend is done. I.d. the functionalities for creating mdpas in non-GUI (aka TUI) mode are completed
• The alpha testing of the backend has started with @inigolcanalejo and @qaumann
• I myself am testing it with larger models now

Timeline for future functionalities:

1. • Testing of the backend (alpha phase with few ppl)
   • Adding CI with Kratos
   • complete adding the example for the standalone-tui usage
   • clean and finish documentation
2. • Testing of the backend (beta phase with more ppl)
3. • Developing GUI for Generic App
4. • Developing GUI for StructuralMechanics
5. • Move this repository to KratosMultiphysics
6. • Implementation of more Application-interfaces ...

I will continuously update this issue to reflect what was done etc.

Now many months have passed and this was extensively tested by me and others
Closing this issue.
Currently under development is the GUI, which will be announced separately
