Unvalidated values in tier data creates issues with record group functions #7

Merge/split group functions do not work when unvalidated values exist in group data.

Could this be addressed through a warning, as a way to encourage users to use valid annotations?
(Invalid annotations pose problems in other areas of Phon anyway, most centrally in queries, so more encouragement is better.)
