Phore Marketplace v2.4.1 Release Notes

The latest release of the Phore Marketplace is available for download here and from https://phore.io/marketplace. This release includes a number of feature enhancements and bug fixes:

Release Highlights

• Users can now encrypt seed words with password protection. This allows users to decide when to keep their wallet locked and unlocked, so that transactions that would send funds elsewhere can only happen after the user unlocks their Phore Marketplace wallet. Incoming transactions can still take place while the wallet is locked. This provides better security while the Phore Marketplace application is running.
• A new step has been added to the user setup process, to verify that the user has written down their seed words. This is more important now that the seed words are password protected, since the seed words may be needed for recovery if a user forgets their password.
• The user wallet will automatically encrypted after a specified number of minutes. The timeout can be configured by each user.
• Management of IPFS peers has been improved.
• ORDER messages will be resent to the seller if they were offline when the first message was sent. This should help resolve a bug that occasionally happened when listings were purchased while the seller was offline.
• The process for handling refunds of orders has been improved.
• Preliminary work has been added to begin providing support for Ethereum as a currency.
• Several improvements have been made to the multi wallet library.
• Several other miscellaneous bug fixes are also included.
