Hi,

I am running a current (1.2 rev1) version of phpipam that we have progressively upgraded from V1.1 rev10.

My question is that when I look at the IP related settings in phpipam I am not seeing anything related to SNMP yet I see that there seems to have been that functionality added. Is this something I have to do a manual code change to implement (I'm fine with that) or is it something where I have just missed something in our patching.

Please advise.

Hi,

enable SNMP module under settings.

Then there will be new "cogs" icon next to devices. Click on it, enter snmp info and associate queries with this device.

Miha, The problem that I was getting at is that I do not see an option in the phpipam settings to enable SNMP functionality.

Do you have php-snmp installed - this might be the cause of this on your server.

Debian/Ubuntu

apt-get install php-snmp

Hi,

I don't see the option too. I have php-snmp installed and phpipam 1.2 :

Package php-snmp-5.4.16-42.el7.x86_64 already installed and latest version

Some others depends to install in order to get this option ?

Thanks

Hi

I seem to have this issue as well. After re-installing my server with a clean ubuntu 16.04 I seem to have no longer the option available in the settings menu to enable it. Snmpwalk, it seems to work fine so snmp itself is working fine. Still the settings menu does not show the SNMP entry .. so I feel something else is missing as well.

os version : ubuntu 16.04 (new installation)
phpipam version : stable version (1.2.1)
php modules installed : apcu, calendar, Core, ctype, curl, date, dom, exif, fileinfo, filter, ftp, gd, gettext, gmp, hash, iconv, json, ldap, libxml, mbstring, mcrypt, mysqli, mysqlnd, openssl, pcntl, pcre, PDO, pdo_mysql,Phar, posix, readline, Reflection, session, shmop, SimpleXML, snmp, sockets, SPL, standard, sysvmsg, sysvsem, sysvshm, tokenizer, wddx, xml, xmlreader, xmlwriter, xsl, zlib

Kind regards,
Bert

I have found the issue ... Ubuntu does not install by default the MIB files anymore ... even if you install snmp and all ...

sudo apt-get install snmp-mibs-downloader

also commend out the one line in /etc/snmp/snmp/conf
#mibs :

Kind Regards,
Bert
