System Information

  • Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen2
  • 32GB DDR4
  • AMD Ryzen 7 pro 5850u
  • Radeon Graphics Renoir
  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS 64 Bit
  • Gnome 42.2
  • Windowing System Wayland
  • Peek 1.5.1 installed via apt-get

Describe the bug
While recording, the keyboard is non functional and clicks register on the wrong window. I'm not sure if it always registers on the window at the bottom but it's possible.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior, for example:

  1. Start peek
  2. Record the screen for 5 seconds
  3. Keyboard input should be disabled
  4. Mouse clicks should be sent to the wrong window

Expected behavior

  • Keyboard input should remain active
  • Mouse clicks should be sent to the currently active window
