Can't interact with the UI elements inside the recording area #1128

System Information

  • Distribution package: installed with sudo apt install peek
  • Peek version: 1.5.1
  • GTK: ?
  • Additional info if applicable:

Describe the bug
I installed peek, ran it by typing 'peek', then moved the window over inkscape and pushed record. I could not click anything in inkscape through the peek window.

This is on Ubuntu 22.04

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior, for example:

  1. Start peek
  2. Start inkscape
  3. Record the screen for 5 seconds
  4. Cannot interact with inkscape

Expected behavior
can interact with inkscape
