Feedback!
-Can you delete pieces? I couldn't figure out how to.
-Sticking bumpers near the top to catch the ball on launch and jackhammer it against the ceiling was an easy strategy to get golds. So long as the ball wasn't entirely stuck, it'd escape and drain before the timer ran out.
-My thought on fixing that: Have bumpers disappear temporarily, either after a single hit or after a series. Could even have both as different unlocks, and even keep the infinite bounce behavior for a $0 bumper so it's not an easy exploit anymore.
-The score target/unlock process works great for a tutorial, but I think for a "full game" mode I'd like to let it run for longer to get more satisfaction out of watching my machine run.
-It doesn't seem like I can change the Auto Playbook right now? It could be interesting if the flippers reacted to placeable trigger areas, rather than (just) randomly with time :)
Currently to go to a specific level (e.g. to try and improve your high score) you have to click "continue game", and click through the levels to go to the one you want. It would be really convenient to be able to click one of the levels from the progress screen.
I wish some things more physically consistent, sometimes I felt I would move an unrelated piece of my machine and it would cause unexpected results before it could interact with it. What if there was a free play mode? No time limit, Just with the goal of getting the highest sore possible?
Thanks for the demo! Got a couple suggestions/notes
Sliders for sound and music + a master volume control. I can turn my system volume down fine, but it's better to do so in game
Allow flipping/mirroring for asymmetrical pieces (ex the rounded wall)
It's hard to get the ball to hit the flippers at the bottom and get flipped upwards, so I relied on the ball never leaving the top area until the score was high enough. Maybe find a way to improve the utility of the flippers or make them be more required?
Some way to stop the playback after starting it
Some way to select the bumper when it's over the hitbox of the curved wall - I click the bumper, but it overlaps the empty space of the curved wall so it thinks I clicked the wall instead
