For ease of use, there is a script that is runnable on linux that will download the required jar (wrapper) then execute it. This can be helpful if you want to run this on a remote system quickly without having to install any software. No special privileges are needed other than Internet access and Java 7.

You will see that a file gets created called pity.html. This contains all of the collected data.
Once the script has been run once, you can manually execute the program by running
java -jar $HOME/.pity/cache/wrapper-1.0.10-all.jar
