Looks like if a reply/comment to a Pixelfed post is set to "followers only", then the comment is not shown/registered in Pixelfed.

I've tried this from Mastodon to Pixelfed. If a comments privacy is set to "followers only", it will not be shown in Pixelfed. Even though both accounts follow each other.

This is problematic for private Pixelfed accounts where all posts by default are set to "followers only". Proper clients will reply with the same privacy settings, but the comments will not show in Pixelfed. No error message in the logs.

Expected behaviour: If both accounts are mutually following, then comments with privacy settings "followers only" should be shown in Pixelfed to the Pixelfed account owner.

Replicate issue: Post a Pixelfed entry with privacy settings set to "followers only". Reply from another fediverse account which follows your Pixelfed account. Setting the reply privacy to "followers only" as well. The reply will not show up in Pixelfed.

Replies with privacy set to "public" or "unlisted" will show up in Pixelfed.

In addition, even if the Pixelfed account is not following the replier, the response should be parsed and logged - at least for the post author to see and know about. In Fedi terms, a tagged individual in a post / conversation gets visibility of the content as well.
