I have a licensed version of cubist that I've used to generate models for predicting percentages of vegetation cover. I also have a stand-alone application called MapCubist that can take the model and input rasters and produce a new prediction raster. I'm exploring the possibility of creating an alternative in Python to avoid some restrictive aspects of MapCubist (like users needing administrative privileges).
I found your cubist package and explored using it a bit, but it doesn't look like it has the ability to load an already existing model output (I might be overlooking something, though, because my programming skills are limited).
Can you tell me if there is currently a way to load an existing model output with your cubist package or if you have considered adding in that functionality?
