The metadata filters (DataciteXmlFilter and MedraXmlFilter) have not been tested at all after the introduction of publications. As far as I can tell, so far they just use the current publication for everything.

We need to check if a) that's ok for their purposes, b) they work as intended, and c) that these filters don't expose unpublished publications.
