I have the same issue with plexmediaplayer 2.58.0.dev-38e019da 2020-11-28 11:23:17 [ INFO ] Log.cpp @ 115 - Starting Plex Media Player version: 2.58.0.dev-38e019da build date: 2020-07-25 |
This is due to the old mpv implementation used by pmp. The mpv devs removed those API dependencies somewhere between version 0.32 and 0.33. If you nevertheless want to use pmp with mpv 0.33 you can use my repo https://github.com/mitzsch/plex-media-player-enhancements. Over there I summarized some awesome improvements, especially those made by LongChair (who made the switch to libmpv possible, which was unfortunately dropped due to some regression with windows, Linux is fine) How to use it? clone this repo and mine and override the original files with the files from my repo and compile :) |
I am happy to see that people are still continuing this work. |
Ha! Great minds think alike, @mitzsch and @LongChair. I authored a libmpv patch this morning. Looks like I should have a look at your fork and possibly retire mine if you're accepting contributors. mhitchens@81b8284 |
@mhitchens sure, contributions are welcome! :) |
Can someone from Plex acknowledge the issue? |
Wondering if there's been any update on this? This is still broken on Arch Linux. |
