See hannesg/uri_template#13 for a more comprehensive example. The behaviour of partial expansion changed, from 0.6 to 0.7, making it no longer suitable.

This is unfortunate as we're forcing people to lock to an older version of uri_template. There doesn't seem to be much interest on their side to address the issue.

Alternatively we could consider using Mustermann, but Mustermann doesn't currently have partial expansion sinatra/mustermann#30

We could also vendor or fork uri_template, so put it under our own namespace, e.g. Yaks::URITemplate, and either add it to the main Yaks gem, or into its own yaks-uri_template gem.
