Doesn't work if download path is less than two levels deep #32
Comments
Backup everything ... including backups I'll have a closer look soon. |
Hi, I did a test with D:\ as downloads directory and the TW in d:\tw.html and d:\data\tw.html both work with the beta and version 0.3.5 stable. |
I did the same test with d:\data as download directory |
Using 0.3.5. Be sure to try saving more than once. It worked for me exactly one time. c:\temp\file.html |
Is there any way for me to see what path file-backups is seeing? Perhaps in the browser console? Thank you! |
With the beta, I am able to use C: (hard drive) and D:\data (network drive) but not D:. |
Ok. I can use D:\ with beta, but I had to restart FF first. The order: Switch to D: |
@Marxsal ... I did some more tests, but I can't reproduce a problem. Both stable and beta AddOn work for me. |
@Marxsal ... Can you try to create a new directory structure? ... But make backups first ;) |
also see: #33 |
Hi @pmario -- sorry for the delay. I did mention that the problem resolved after restarting FF. Re the request to make a new directory structure, where do you mean? Under /Downloads, or somewhere else? |
ahh OK I did mean a new dir under Downloads. ... There must be a hickup somewhere. I'll keep my eyes open. |
If I put the download path here:
D:\data\Wikis<wiki dirs>
Then I can save
D:\data\Wikis\ABC\myfile.html
But if the download dir is here:
D:\data\ or D:\
it won't save.
Objective: Create a Firefox personal profile JUST for tw use, where the download folder is the root folder, enabling the ENTIRE directory structure to be used for TW files.
