PokéAPI.co will shutdown on the 1st July 2017. This is due to high costs and a lack of time to support the project. The source code will stay here for as long as GitHub stays up. You are welcome to clone the project and run your own instance.

Due to an overwhelmingly huge response, I have been inspired to keep the site up and running.
