Use with serial HanTouch #2
Comments
Hi, it looks like your panel is already initialized... |
I've made sure nothing else is running. I've also tried to set the serial port speed to 9600 just in case. |
change line 41 on opengalax.h to read #define DEBUG 1, then compile again and send me the output of opengalax -f after touching the pannel during a while. |
root@barsy-test:/usr/src/opengalax# ./opengalax -f -s /dev/ttyS0 Configuration data: Calibration data: SENT: F5 READ: 1F |
Is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue? I really need to get this touch working. |
Hi,
That is a great project that I was looking for some time. I'm tring to use your project with and old serial controller that under windows uses HanTouch drivers.
I've changed the serial interface to /dev/ttyS0 and started the daemon.
Then when I touch around I get a lot of:
panel initialization failed: 0xD7 != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0xDB != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x9D != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0xD7 != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x6C != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x9D != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x6B != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x9C != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0xD3 != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x8D != 0xFA
panel initialization failed: 0x9C != 0xFA
and finally it exits with message:
error failed to initialize panel
Can you give me some points to how to search for a solution?
