Option to add new language from CLI or config

Is there any option to add new language from command line client or via config files? It would be good to have it to enable automatic configuration during bootstrap.

I am aware of WP-CLI extension: https://github.com/diggy/polylang-cli

It does not work with WP CLI wp-cli 2.X.X so you cannot use it now with the latest WP versions. It would be good to have an option in polylang to set at least one default language which is installed automatically on bootstrap.
There are plugins which integrates well with wp client and allow setting different kind of options but not polylang.
