Hi,

Very much looking forward to using this in my own bioinformatics projects. An obstacle I encountered was that in your installation instructions, the repo cloning function leads to a different repo, "QUEEN". Is this a necessary part of installation?

I'm sorry for the confusion caused by my unclear documentation. Actually, using pysanger does not require the installation of QUEEN. However, I no longer maintain the pysanger repository and now recommend using sangerseq_viewer, a more sophisticated library for similar purposes.
To use sangerseq_viewer, you will need to install QUEEN, the Python module for modifying and visualizing annotated DNA sequences. (Please note that updates to sangerseq_viewer are currently on hold due to my busy works, but if you have any requests or questions, please let me know.)
