Feature request : Add option for horizontal workspaces as well

Vertical workspaces work good , But it would be better if it would be really simple to toggle between horizontal and vertical workspaces .

I suppose setting the workspaces picker to bottom or top(Option in the works under the workspaces settings) would make it horizontal as I saw in the latest commit that they have added an api to automatically change the trackpad gesture of switching desktop in accordance to the workspaces picker configuration. So I can assume that the same will happen to the keyboard shortcuts.

In a recent interview on Tweakers.net (Dutch) I've read that System76 wanted both vertical and horizontal workspaces; yet the horizontal workspaces are not available?

"Wij wilden bijvoorbeeld liever niet alleen horizontale workspaces aanbieden, maar ook de mogelijkheid voor verticale workspaces leveren." roughly translates to "For example, we wanted to add an option for vertical workspaces as well as the default horizontal."

@MrHaroldA Horizontal workspaces were in the mockups(link is from the cosmic project) for 21.04(when cosmic workflow was introduced). But I'm guessing they were deferred from the release because of time restraints.
And if I'm guessing right they didn't implement this feature for current releases because they want it on the new Cosmic DE out of the box.
But I'm just guessing, so don't take my words.
