If I start with tiling mode off, open some various windows across a few different workspaces, then enable tiling mode, the windows frequently get reorganized into different workspaces. I believe windows should be confined to workspaces when they are added to forks. I've also seen this behavior when restarting Gnome Shell, so this might address that as well.
I couldn't get a recording of this once since running Peek makes it not as much.

Yep, caused by the same issue that moves windows. GNOME Shell is reporting a different workspace than they are on, and the shell thinks this is because the window has been moved to another workspace.
