Why is portainer/portainer-ee:latest not updated #11647

Ask a Question!Hi I am running this image (portainer/portainer-ee:latest) on my Synology. This image is still on Version 2.19.4. Why is this image not updated to the latest version 2.20.1 and how can I update my portainer to the latest version without losing my configuration? So far this was done automatically updated using WatchTower... |

Hi @todrees1967, version 2.20.x is our Short Term Support (STS) release and hasn't been marked as the latest because that designation is reserved for our Long Term Support (LTS) releases. The upcoming LTS release has not yet been launched, which is why version 2.19.4 still carries the "latest" label. You can find more information here: Portainer 2.20 Release Blog. |
