llvm and can't compile

устанавливал постгрес командой:

yum install postgresql11 postgresql11-server postgresql11-contrib postgresql11-libs postgresql11-devel systemtap-sdt-devel

дополнительно устанавливал:
yum -y install git gcc gcc-c++ clang libstdc++-devel llvm llvm-libs

при компиляции получаю ошибку:

неясно почему идет попытка искать llvm в /opt/rh/llvm-toolset-7/root/usr/bin/clang
в чём может быть проблема?

Добрый день.
У вас в CONFIGURE указано:

CONFIGURE = ... 'CLANG=/opt/rh/llvm-toolset-7/root/usr/bin/clang' ...

Скорее всего в этом дело. Попробуйте не указывать CLANG или указать правильный путь.

это же к Postgres идет... как этим можно управлять ?

Точно, я забыл, что вы установили postgres из пакетов. В какой папке находится clang у вас?

а llvm нашел здесь:
/usr/lib64/llvm

я посмотрел как ставится Postgres на Ubuntu... там такого нет..

получается, что сами пакеты собраны не совсем корректно... как решить это ?

Мне сейчас @dmpgpro подсказал, что при сборке PostgreSQL с llvm для CentOS подключаются дополнительные репозитории. Поэтому чтобы собрать расширение нужно подключить их:

yum install -y centos-release-scl-rh
yum --enablerepo=centos-sclo-rh install -y llvm-toolset-7-clang-devel
yum install -y llvm5.0-devel gcc-c++

Потом попробовать еще раз собрать rum.
