Now I see the error message like this
Could not find test (no symbols found)

This extension has no support for Benchmark test as of now. I will love to give support of it. Will notify here once done.

Any plans to add this in 2021?

SInce benchmarks are a integrated part of Go's testing, this would complete your great extension.
